The Great Outdoors

There's a lot of playing outside when the weather is nice.  You're a big fan of baseball, so that's the biggest.  This year you started in T-Ball, with a uniform & everything!

Baseball isn't the only sport, tho.  We play frisbee, soccer, catch, baseketball, and of course Gramma is fortunate to have a park in her community, so we go there often as well.  There's even a pond or lake with ducks & geese!

Another fun thing to do outside is play with Bubbles!

Sometimes Gramma lets us play with them inside, but usually not because then soap gets all over the floor.  Soap, on a floor, equals slippery mess that has to be cleaned!  LOL

Uber fun times, right?  : )

<3 you!

Steak & Shake / Incredible Pizza

Chick Fil A is where we eat the most, of course, but two other restaurants we frequent together are Steak & Shake - because it's close to our houses! - and Incredible Pizza - because it's FUN!

Playing games?  Oh yes, we all enjoy that!

And the food's not bad at all.  I prefer the buffet at IP to SS, but you & Anthony seem to enjoy their shakes, so it's fun to eat there, as well!  : )

Love you!!

Niabi Zoo

One of our favorite places to go is the zoo.  I've always loved going to the zoo - really any zoo.  *laugh*  But the zoo we most often visit is of course local.

We've had some trips to the zoo.  You love the train, and one of these trips would like to try feeding the giraffes.

We just missed feeding time on our last trip, and you were quite disappointed!  (To be truthful, so were Gramma & I.)

However,  you DID get to feed the goats, and that was lots of fun!  Their tongues are tickly!  And a little slimy, of course, requiring a good hand sanitizing afterward.  ; )

Later this summer, Gramma, Anthony, you & I will be going to the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago.  Gramma & I went last year to check it out, and we think you're really going to like it!  : )

Love you!

Chick Fil A

So, recently you have made a best friend of the Cow from CFA.

We go to CFA a lot.  Especially on Thursday.  Thursdays are Family Night, where kids meals are free, the Cow makes an appearance, and there's a craft for kids.  You've made a windsock, a flower pot (and planted a seed!), sand art, all sorts of things!  There was even face-painting once!

You also really enjoy the play area.

What we all enjoy is the chicken (delicious) and the fact that it's a Christian establishment.  The music played over the speakers is always uplifting, the staff is SUPER friendly, and usually there are books in the kids' meals instead of the traditional toys.  Love that they are encouraging kids to be smarter!  : )

Looking forward to many more CFA visits w/ my favorite Leyton!  : )
